Judas and Preparations for Passover

Matthew 26:14-19; Mark 14:10-16; Luke 22:3-13

Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them, and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And when they heard it, they were glad, and they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him in the absence of the multitude.

Now on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed, the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters. Then you shall say to the master of the house, “My time is at hand Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”
So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.
